Team Of The Group Stage Predictions | Festival Of Futball | Fifa 21 Ultimate Team

With the first Festival of Futball promo coming to an end (Path To Glory), we would expect to see another promo take its place this Friday. Considering the Euro 2020 group stages have now concluded, it would make sense for EA to release Team Of The Group Stage.

As mentioned, the Path To Glory promo ends on June 25 at 6pm UK Time. If you missed this promo, it ran for two weeks and we saw two teams released (Team 1 and Team 2). EA released a variety of different Path To Glory cards, all which had significant rating and stat boosts. Moreso, these cards are live items meaning that they can still upgrade once the promo ends. The cards can upgrade depending on how their nation performs at the Euros or Copa America. Here is how the upgrade system works:

  • Should the player’s national team win 3 games, the card will receive a +2 rating increase.
  • Should the player’s national team win 4 games, the card will then receive an extra +1 rating increase. 
  • Should the player’s national team win 5 games, the card will then receive an extra +1 rating increase. 
  • Should the team win 6 games, the card will be boosted to 5* Skill Moves and 5* Weak Foot too.

The Path To Glory players were obtainable through packs, objectives and also SBCs. However, with the promo ending, players will no longer be available, apart from through the Transfer Market.

With Path To Glory coming to an end, but the Festival of Futball not ending till after Euro 2020 and Copa America conclude, we expect to see another promo introduced into Fifa 21 Ultimate Team. Whilst it is not confirmed, considering the Euro 2020 group stages has just ended, it is expected that this promo will be Team Of The Group Stage.

We have already seen a Team Of The Group Stage promo in Fifa 21 Ultimate Team for the Champions League. This promo will work the same, however, it will include boosted cards for the best performing players during the group stage of Euro 2020.
